USB, printer, itd. Svaka ideja, dobro mi dodje

Kupio ja USB karticu/PCI Peripheral Controller Card/. Gurnuo u maticnu. Resetirao. Komp prihvatio. Device manager kaze da je ona "Universal serial bus controller". Prekrasno. Radi.
Kupio ja i HP 656c printer. Jeftikaner sa USB portom. Ukopcao ja kabel u USB karticu i u struju. Sve napravio po uputi (zamisli cak je na hrvatskome). Sav ja veseo uzeo HPov sluzbeni cd. Kada ono nece to raditi. Nista zato, skinut cu ja drivere sa neta. Skinuo.

Install, kada ono nigdje USB, nesta prica o COM portovima i LPT, a nigdje USB.

Ima li tko kakvu pametnu ideju ? Inace sam WIN98 user.
Ja nemam. Pomozite ljudi !

Mozda pricam ×××××rije, ali mislim da neki uređaji imaju posebne drivere ovisno o tome dali se spajaju na USB ili LPT. Probaj skinut druge i obrati pažnju na to.

Installing the printer software for the HP Deskjet 656c, 825c and 845c

Verify that the USB cable is unplugged from either the computer or printer.
Insert the CD that came with the printer into the CD-ROM drive of the computer.
Plug the USB cable into the computer and printer.
On the Add New Hardware screen, select Automatically search for a better driver and click Next.
Click Finish.
A screen will appear that loads files in preparation for the software installation.
On print sample page, select one of the following:
Replay
Print sample page
Next
On the register printer screen, select one of the following:
Read privacy statement
Register my printer
Next
On the What Next screen, click Next.
On the HP Printer Assistant screen, select Exit.
Select OK.
Try printing.
